Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about our Longview custom fit towing mirrors on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This is gonna be a great option for you if you want to help haul anything in more of a safe fashion. So let's check it out. So what I'm gonna do first is just show you how to put 'em on because they are really quick and easy to do. All I gotta do is line up this interior of the towing mirror with our mirror and it'll have an LH to let you know for the driver's side and an RH for the passenger side. We're just gonna slide this so it fits around the contours of our mirror until it feels pretty snug. more

So these are gonna be a custom fit, so gonna fit specifically on our Silverado. Something I'd like to note is gonna have these little felt pieces inside. They're gonna be a little thick too, so they're gonna help kind of protect the back of the mirror. more

Hi. Matt with etrailer, and I'm gonna let you guys know what I think of the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors on the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I'd recommend a towing mirror, especially a custom fit one, for anyone who's hauling anything that's longer, like a trailer, maybe a boat, or a camper. Having a custom fit one too is gonna really fit onto your mirrors a lot easier than the universal ones, and they're gonna look a lot nicer too. And installing them is pretty easy too. All you have to do is slide this one in particular on like this. more

This is gonna be a slip-on towing mirror. So, what this means is it's gonna slide over your existing towing mirror and attach with this clamp here. So a lot of questions we get about these towing mirrors here is that they're worried about restricting some features that maybe on the vehicle such as the fold in or breakaway feature. These are going to be a really nice, affordable way to give you a little bit better visibility when you're going down the road, whether you're hauling a boat like we have here today, or a camper like we have back here. Anytime you have something at the back of your vehicle, it's a little bit more difficult to see around it, so especially when we're trying to change lanes or we're backing up, we want that wider field of view just for safer conditions because the factory mirrors that we have, they do a good job, but they're designed for your vehicle. So adding that extra width out there is going to be a much safer way of going about it.So here I am at the back of the trailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the K-Source snap and zap custom fit towing mirrors for your guys's 2020 Chevy Silverado.So we're going to go ahead and take our mirror, and what we're going to do is we're going to hook on these top loops first. Get those into place, and then we're going to slowly rotate this down and then give it a good push, and that's going to clip right in. And that's literally all we got to do and everything is nice and tight. So not only is this going to widen your guys's view, it's also going to eliminate a lot of those blind spots that your factory mirrors give you.So this is just going to give you guys peace of mind whenever you guys are traveling. Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Longview custom towing mirrors on our 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. Now having a towing mirror is going to be really nice because it's going to be able to extend your field of view, which makes it a lot easier and safer for us, when we're towing a trailer. Now here, you can see me, I'm at the back of my trailer, hooked up to my Silverado and you can see me in the factory mirror. It's not a big deal, but if we need to change lanes or possibly get over, make a big turn, we'd like to see what's over there before we start moving. The problem comes in, if I step away, you're going to lose track of me in the factory mirror, but that's where our towing mirror comes in. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer.Today on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the SEPA universal fit towing mirror, which is also sold as a set.Towing mirror really going to expand our field of view.That can be especially useful whenever making a lane change, backing up into a tight parking spot, or just wanting to keep a closer eye on what's going on behind us.So to give you an example, how much more ground we're going to be able to cover, as you can see, I'm visible and they're telling me, but not our factory mirror.Now, if I take a few steps closer to our trailer, I'll disappear out of that towing mirror and become visible in our factory mirror.that's also really going to help to eliminate any blind spots as well.One of the biggest questions we get in regards to universal fit towing mirrors is if you're going to have any vibration or noise, especially at higher speeds.Well, this one does clamped to the factory mirror and it really is solid.If I kind of move it around, you can see it's just moving with the factory mirror.So I really don't see that causing an issue for you.And since our towing mirror is going to extend the overall width of our Equinox, sometimes it may be a little tricky to pull into tight spots.As you need to free up some space, you still are able to completely fold the mirror in the Toe of your lens in this position.There's a little contact, but if you just rotate it, it'll give you that extra enter so that you might need.And even with the towing mirror in place, we're still able to maintain all of our adjustability with our factory mirror.That's really good to come in handy.That way you don't have to sacrifice any visibility.Towing mirror itself is also completely adjustable.You're going to be able to adjust it up and down side to side, pretty much any which way you want.You can even rotate it a full 360 degrees.So you shouldn't have any problems finding a position that works best for you.And since this tow mirror is universal, chances are pretty good.If you happen to have another vehicle in the household, it'll probably work with that too.And if you want to switch them around, it's really not too big of a headache because how easy this is to put on and take off.Speaking of which let's go ahead and pull it all together now.So the way we get our mirror on is these two knobs, which you're going to do is loosen them up.And that's going to create a bigger gap in between these two pieces here.So once you have that created, it will just simply slide that onto the factory mirror, kind of hold it in place and then just evenly turn the knobs to clamp it down.Once you have it nice and snowing. If you picked up a set, you simply just repeat this process over on the other side.And that'll finish up our look at and our installation of the SEPA universal fit towing mirror on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. more

Colin: Hey guys, it's Colin here at etrailer. Today, we have a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. We're going to test fit the Longview custom-fit towing mirrors. These are made to fit the housing of our '19 Silverado side mirrors. This is just going to give us some more visibility while we're towing our big campers or any other trailer we might have. Because we don't have any factory towing mirrors, this is a nice option to make sure they don't have any blind spots when we're wanting to change lanes or even when we want to back up.As you can see, it just slides right over our side mirror of our Silverado. more
